Bob and Debi Cowan were both raised in separate parts of Ontario, Canada; both had dramatic conversions to the Christian faith in the midst of darkening lifestyles, and then were brought together by God in Banff, Alberta.
Since their marriage in 1982 they have dedicated themselves to pastoring four different Canadian churches, and Bob taught for 4 years at Briercrest Bible College in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Through a variety of wonderful circumstances they discovered Roatan and sensed a call to come and help the Island’s poor and needy. This Gift Shop is one of the many projects God has prompted them to finance to benefit many families through the sale of their arts and crafts.
One of Debi’s passions is photography, which you can see here displayed for sale. The proceeds, of course, are circulated back into the lives of Islanders, to stimulate ongoing economic prosperity.
It is our hope that the demonstration of our faith in Jesus Christ will prompt others to discover for themselves the joys of a relationship with God through living and active faith in Jesus.
